Hi guys, I am halfway done with my PhD Applications (finished all due 12/1 or 1/1). Surprisingly, I received an email from a faculty member (already?) at a school I completed stating that they were deeply interested in my application and asking for "an informal phone interview to discuss my interests and experiences further". Of course I said yes and am still pinching myself. With that said, what should I expect from this phone interview and how can I prepare accordingly?

Think about UCF. I am finishing my MA there right now. It has it's advantages being a terminal master's program. I think the faculty there is great depending on your research interest and you can really stand above the crowd and get some good research experience and conference/journal work. I highly recommend the program and you can get finding. I've been funded both years there. Let me know if you have any questions I'll be sure to help

I'm having trouble finding programs that match my interest of persuasion/social influence combined with social psychology/personality (heavy quantitative preferred). I know this isn't exactly a popular topic, but here's my list of programs right now: University of Maryland Alabama UConn Illinois Florida Texas Arizona Any help/suggestions are appreciated!
