I will also be attending TCU and would like to see if anyone has any input on housing around the area? Mainly if anyone knows of areas that aren't too expensive.
I was*finally* accepted I don't have much insight on it, but hopefully i'll bump this up, so someone else can comment on this, haha. I'm also interested in knowing who has already accepted their offer and is for sure going.
I got an email for an interview at TCU and was wondering if anyone had experience with phone-call interviews and what kinds of questions they'll focus on? They said it was to determine my level of Spanish proficiency, but I wonder what they'll ask...
I am! My focus is Spanish, so I haven't had problemsin finding schools. I applied this semester to Columbia U, TCU, UT at Austin, NMSU, ASU, and Arizona U, all of which have bilingual programs. I grew up bilingual myself which is why the focus interests me so much. Where I currently attend they don't offer much of anything related to multicultural issues which is why I'm excited about grad school.
I find watching youtube videos very helpful. Especially when you can just follow along and listen to them explain how they're finding their answers. Even listening to the vocab, rather than just reading it, seems to help as well.
