Just an update, I accepted my admission to Lakehead's MPH program today. The deadline is a few days away and I wanted to make sure my deposit payment would be processed in time. Still hoping to hear back from UofT though (although it would suck to lose $500, it's my top choice).
No, I didn't apply to the nursing specialization one!
michelleh, congrats on accepting to Lakehead! We might be classmates (although I am still hoping for UofT)
Yes, because Lakehead did specifically state that you can only accept one offer is why I asked about accepting a second offer and then declining the first.
I actually submitted my application very close to the deadline, not early at all.
I also just checked the Waterloo website and got denied admission as well.
Looks like I will probably be accepting Lakehead since I don't really want to move out of Toronto... does anyone know how it works if you accept an offer of admission to one school but hear back from a better choice after you have accepted the offer and want to change schools? Do you just lose your deposit?
I applied to UofT for Health Promotion, it's my top choice. Problem is Lakehead needs an acceptance by March 20th.
I also applied to Waterloo, Queens and Guelph, still waiting to hear back.
Hey everyone,
I'm planning to apply for Fall 2015 to some MPH programs but don't have much volunteer experience
I live in in the GTA, does anyone have any recommendations for volunteer experience that would be an asset to my application?
Thanks!
