Hi,
I have recently got in to a program. They want to know whether I am accepting or rejecting their offer. The deadline for the that is still 2 months away, and there is still a bunch of other schools I am waiting to hear from. But they also want to know whether I am going to attend their open house in four weeks. What is the appropriate way to say "thank you for the offer, I am interested, and I'll be attending the open house" without sounding like I am accepting their offer?
Thanks!
Congrats. I got accecpted from Arizona, as well. Got an e-mail from DGS this morning. I was wondering, am I supposed to e-mail back and say thank you or something? Or do I not respond at all until I make my final decision about whether to accept the offer or not?
I am on the same boat man. This is my second try. ok-in the first try, I applied to only 3 schools, my gre score was weaker, statement of purpose shabby. I just couldn't put time to it. But now I have improved GRE scores, better SOP, and I applied to 15 schools. So it's now or never. But I already got one rejection. Feel like it's gonna be like that for the rest of them. It's really frustrating.
Yeah they are. I didn't think they were. But I got an e-mail last night. First rejection. Fit wasn't bad. I was hoping to be at least wait-listed. Oh well.
I have similar research interests. I am broadly interested issues relating to energy and conflict. If I may ask, what schools have you looked into so far?
