Both programs have a group capstone component where you work on a real world issue. I would take into account which school has professors that have very similar interests to yours, which school you like the location of since your job market will likely be larger close to your school, and ofcourse cost.
I received my merit offer today as well. I wouldn't be surprised if others heard at the beginning of next week.
As for financial aid, that is a separate package that we will be notified of much later. I called to ask about that.
I was raised in Connecticut but I have lived in New Hampshire, Massachusettes, Tennessee, Florida and Sicily (my favorite!).
I have been to Italy, France, Greece/the Greek Islands, Turkey and Belgium.
Stateside I have visited (more than just passing through), North & South Carolina, Georgia and California. I really don't feel that I have traveled that much, and hope to add more international travel soon!
UNC Wilmington's MCOP program has little information accessible online. Can anyone provide some insight into this program? I know it is in the fairly early stages. Thanks!
I attended a fair that talked about the "Big Four" Environmental Programs. This was Yale FES, Duke Nicholas, Michigan, and UCSB Bren. They said their programs are compatible, just different perks and focuses! Hope that helps!
The same goes for me. It's been less than 2 weeks so you are probably correct in saying they were just letting everyone know about the experience day. I've gotten emails like that from other schools but usually as part of a thank you for applying email.
