I'm smack dab in the middle of midterms, I have a conference paper in the midst of revisions for two weekends from now, and this stuff isn't helping.

This is basically a question for anyone: my application status for UMD changed from Under Departmental Review to Under Graduate School Review. Is this a positive sign, since doesn't the department send it off to the graduate school to make sure all the i's are dotted and the T's are crossed? Or am I reading too much into this?

To the poster on the index who mentioned calling UMD, I also have "Under Departmental Review" on my application. Just checked. Not sure what's going on...

Have all the UPenn acceptances gone out? I've heard nothing either way. Also: does anyone know when U of Maryland and Georgetown send out decisions?

To whoever posted on the results page about silence from UPenn, also in the same boat. I've heard nothing either way. I'm considering it a silent rejection but who knows, stranger things right...

Notre Dame. But they're in the same situation as UCLA: only a few has gone out far as I can tell.

There's only, by my count, three acceptances up so far on the Big Board. Crossing my fingers I'll get an email later today.

I've heard nothing from Notre Dame, either way, so...gonna be checking my email obsessively all day.

What's your subfield? IR is my chosen field. If it makes you feel better, I also was rejected from GWU.

Nice to meet ya. I'm curious if admissions committees consider straight-from-undergrad apps the same as in-the-work-force apps?

From the sound of it, many of ya'll are not diving straight in from undergrad, as I am doing. Is anyone else in the same boat? Just curious.

I want to know too because I was under the impression Georgetown wasn't releasing decisions until much later.

Does anyone know when UPenn and/or American releases decisions?

Slightly confused about that too...I've received nothing, either way. Also wasn't aware ND conducted interviews.
