For those who submitted video have you seen plays at the end of March? If so, then they might still be on the typical time line and we might hear back early this week.

I did, but I always forget to screenshot the application, so that I can look back at which pieces I submitted since you can't get back into the portal. Did anyone submit with video?

Okay y’all it’s that first week in April, the week we typically hear back from Skowhegan. Any bets on when we’ll get the email? I did notice that on their FAQs they changed it from saying we would hear back “in April” to “by the end of April”. Do you think that’s just to mitagate against all the calls they get around this time? It would seem bonkers to hear back about a 3 month residency that starts in June with only a month’s notice.

What is the proper etiquette for letting a program know that you are not going to accept their offer? Phone call? Email? Has anyone done this so far? Did you give your reasons or just respectfully decline?

For those of you who had an interview with RISD on the 25th how did it go?
So is RISD doing interviews in batches then? Was this is regards to the painting program specifically, because I know they are also doing interviews on the 9th and 10th of this next week as well.

i just called SVA and wondered why i havent heard anything from them. and guess what, they said they didnt get my official transcrpit, so my application is not even been looked yet. But why the F**K they didnt email me about this earlier? if i didnt call them today, i ll never know the reason why i get rejected. because if i didnt fully complete the the application form, it wont even let me submit it. but my application is submit, and they say they need my transcript? wtf? i know some ppl already heard the decision from SVA, do u guys think they ll review my application? i just sent out my official transcript online. HELP
I just tried calling them and got a voice-mail that they are out of the office due to a staff holiday...when did you call them today?

I mean it has been 4 days since the application status has changed. I know they send both, but I don't know about MFA procedures - I'm getting most of my info from a BFA alumni .

Is it your "Applicant Portal" that says "Graduate Application Fall 2015 - Decision will be sent via e-mail/mail "? I did not have an interview with SVA and have had no communication. My portal still says "Application Ready for Review". The silence is deafening.

VCU. Had Skype interview. Reject email about 10 days later. Wha Wha! It's ok. Didn't see myself in Virginia. Other things in the hopper.

Just wondering if people wrote about specific instructors they wanted to work with at each school in their statement of purposes this year.

Just called RISD to get info regarding the status of my application. I was told that they are still being processed and will be out in the next couple of weeks...
But, then later that day you got an email for an interview! What crazy luck!
CONGRATS! Do you think that person you talked to was just confused or do you think they are sending out interview requests in batches? Can you tell I am still hopeful! RISD was my top pick! Trying to visualize an email from them in my inbox tomorrow.

Had Skype interviews with VCU and Austin last weekend both for painting... I think they went ok but VCU asks tough questions
Interviews with Tyler and SFAI this weekend and feeling way more prepared now that I had the other two previous interviews, I feel now like I know what to expect.
Anyone heard from Berkeley, Columbia, Hunter, or UCLA?

I didn't contact admissions, I'm assuming that if someone had a painting interview than they contacted everyone who applied to painting. Sorry should have qualified that.
Derpderpderp, no worries. Did someone say they had a painting interview with VCU on this forum? Did I miss that entry?

So vcu already contacted all interview candidates? Oh well! 1/3 isn't bad at all (still waiting for risd)
Derpderpderp, where did you get this information? Did you contact their admissions staff?
