Did anyone get accepted? There are only rejections in the results page

Hello everyone I received an admit in Petroleum Engg. from University of Tulsa but had the following queries regarding the admission process. I would be grateful if you could answer them for me : Though I applied to the thesis-based Masters, but I have been accepted into the non-thesis Masters program. Is such a program any good? If yes, then what are the prospects (job, research)? If not, then is it generally possible to get the program changed at a later point of time? ( I have the option of deferring the admission till Fall '16) Are students in non-thesis based Masters generally awarded funding? Since I am an international student, funding is essential for me to go anywhere. How is University of Tulsa for Petro? I primarily applied here because it had a cheap application fee (around $30 I guess, but they have been the most helpful with my application) On the whole, is enrolling in Grad School in Petro at this time a good idea? Thanks in advance

Hello I received the following reply regarding my application for Masters in Petro from Tulsa : "Your application is still being reviewed by the department. It may be another week or two before we receive a decision from the department. We thank you for your patience during this busy time. " I have heard that the department has already sent some acceptances. Does that mean that the first round of acceptances have already been sent and I should wait if the department decides to send the second round of acceptances? Or are acceptances sent on rolling basis at Tulsa? -
Hello When did you submit your final application to the department?

Reply from ERE, Stanford regarding when will they notify the decisions for their MS program in Petro "Thank you for your email. Decisions will be emailed this month. Thank you for your patience as the admissions committee continues to thoroughly review applications." Hope this helps all those impatient souls like me who have been checking this thread each hour for all the updates -

When did you receive the offer? And as per most of the graduate program websites I have looked at, assistantships are given only to MSc students -

Any possibility that with the plunge in oil prices, the funding for their projects may have taken a hit and so the admits might be less this time round? My supervisor speculated this explanation for my UT Austin rejection -

This is a repeat post probably but does anyone have any idea when is Stanford ERE (Petroleum) going to take its decisions? There are some rejections posted in the results page but no acceptances yet. This seems strange since Stanford usually sends its rejections and acceptances on the same day.. -

Hello Any idea when does Stanford release their result for the Masters program in PetE? The program is offered by ERE under the School of EESS. I can see a couple of rejections for the program but no acceptance, but judging from previous years' data, they have two rounds of acceptance (the first of which should have been over in mid-Feb). Maybe its just coincidence that noone who has been accepted has uploaded their result, or maybe they have changed their timings. Thanks -
So I applied to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engg. at University of Alberta yesterday. Any idea how long they take to reveal the final result? (This is the final application to the university. My preliminary application was accepted within 48 hours)
