  1. A word of advice! Unless you are strongly considering JHU, I recommend not taking the interview. The travel agency was a huge hassle, the weekend was largely unorganized, and it has been 4 months and I have not been reimbursed and the person responsible for reimbursements will not respond to emails/phone calls. If you are genuinely interested in the program, of course go check it out but I was on the fence and regret going especially now that I am still waiting on 500$ of reimbursements and it doesn't seem to be coming my way anytime soon.
  2. One of my professors won't let me makeup an exam Im missing so I will automatically fail it. At first I was frustrated, but this is a huge decision we are all making and I decided I'm not going to let a stubborn professor get in the way of finding my perfect fit. If I get a C in the class so be it! Like anyone can blame us for not having perfect grades after being gone 2 months straight...!
  3. I think I have decided not to attend- I saw on results page someone posted BU open house was February 26-28 but my letter said more official info about open house was coming later. Did anyone else here it was 2/26-2/28?
  4. Just got my acceptance from BU! Apparently it really isn't too late to be hearing...!
  5. What are positives/negatives people have heard about Columbia BME and Univ. Washington BioE? Don't know much about the programs and I'm not sure if I'd be a good fit!

  7. Dubblebubble898- it was not a professor, a graduate coordinator or something who was also out on medical leave so that could be delaying things. I tried to get in contact with a few PIs but they said the admissions process was out of their control
  8. Dubblebubble898- I got a personal email (not mass email) from UCSD department so more could definitely be on their way! I just got it on Monday so it hasn't been that long! Good luck!
