I think it is a bit redundant to dedicate a full page for undergraduate degrees and relevant coursework. The school already has all that with your transcripts. The point of a resume/cv (especially for graduate admissions) is to summarize your relevant work experience. You can use your statement of purpose to go into more detail if you feel you need to go over 1 page. That is the feedback i received from visits to 3 graduate schools.

I think you are misinterpreting it. It is saying your total is $8,000 and that will be divided up over 4 semesters. So $4,000 per academic year. Or I could be wrong because whoever wrote these admissions letters is an idiot.

Here is the resume i used for graduate school admissions: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pqcq3fta8eib0gs/GradAdmissionResume.docx?dl=0 Few rules to go by when it comes to resumes: 1) It should be no longer than 1 page (unless you are published/in academia) 2) Keep it clean and concise(Make it easy on the eyes. No one wants to read through clutter) 3) If it is for a graduate admissions application, only put experience that is related to the program you are applying to on the resume.

Quiet on this front. The wait is killing me!
-
All the schools that I have heard back from released their decisions at the same time. GWU broke that streak. Smh.
-
Still nothing here.
-
Nothing so far for me.

Reveal yourself! It looks like its an international student though, they usually get admissions decisions first.

I turn 25 in the summer. Accepted to 2 top programs in IR, awaiting 2 more. I suggest you apply again. I had mediocre GPA and GRE and still got funding. I think what helped me most was my SOP and language skills. Anyways, good luck!

I got accepted with funding! "I am also happy to inform you that the Graduate Admissions Committee of the School of International Service has selected you to receive an SIS Dean's Research Assistantship Award for Academic Year 2015-16 based on your scholarly promise. The Dean's Research Assistantship Award carries with it $4,500 for the academic year, and a total maximum value of $9,000 over two consecutive academic years. If you choose to accept the award, you will work as a research assistant for an SIS faculty member for up to 10 hours/week. Additional terms of the award are detailed on the forms below. "

Thank you for the update. It looks like Elliot, SIS, and Georgetown will be releasing decisions around the same time. -
Spring break. A week where nothing gets done at the admissions level and another week of waiting.
-
Last years cohort started getting decisions this week. Anyone hear anything from AU yet?

Still Waiting? What is Your Top Choice?(Fall 2015)

I applied to their Middle Eastern Studies program which is part of their social sciences and humanities division. I did not get accepted, most likely because their program is geared towards academia and I wanted to work right after graduate school. I only applied there because I live in Chicago. -

Is it me or as you go more East geographically in USA the more pretentious these schools get with regards to their admissions decisions? I received updates and admissions decisions from Denver and Chicago this week. Not a peep from the DC schools. -

Login to the application again and click on messages at the top. Maybe it's there. -
