I agree with dreamcatcher725, different strokes for different folks. I was born and raised in LA, I actually live right off of the 110 closer to Pasadena. So I grew up around USC, but I decided to do my undergrad as far away possible. So I ended up in Northern California (Humboldt State), far north, my school is actually 2 hours away from the Oregon border. However, its going to be nice to back home for a bit and among friends/family. Living away from home, has definitely taught me to appreciate certain aspects of it, but I can also understand the calling of living somewhere else.

Got accepted to the advanced standing program! Very excited!

@adacot I believe there are applications available online now. I'm not sure about the Dean's scholarship, but I do know some applications have the option to apply now.

Hello All, I'm super excited to keep up with this thread. Thought I would chime in and join the discussion. I will be graduating in May with my BSW. I'm currently applying to USC, CSU Long Beach, University of Washington, and Humboldt State (my current school). First choice is University of Washington, but we shall see. I am excited for those that have already been accepted and look forward to keeping updated with everyones acceptance.

Daniela, it sounds like you have great chances of getting accepted. I think this a great thread to start for others who have applied to USC. I applied to their advanced standing program. I'm nervous as to when we'll hear anything back for sure.
