Let's talk about the University of Western Ontario.

Sorry to hear about your rejection I'm not sure if you're referring to me or the person who got into clinical but I'll answer anyway. My GRE scores were mediocre: 78 percentile verbal, 80 percentile analytic writing, and 37 percentile quantitative. I have a 4.0 GPA over my four years of undergrad. I also have a lot of research experience and several conference presentations. Hope this was helpful! A -
First thing is first, love the username!! I'm wondering what program you are in and any tips you have about living in London. Thanks! A

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there's anyone out there starting at Western in Fall 2015. My program is a MSc in social psychology and am interested to talk to some other incoming students (in psych and other programs as well). A

I don't know if it was really an interview (and they never referred to it as such). They just said they wanted to call me to talk about the program at U of S. Since they asked me to fill out the form for internal funding opportunities, it seemed like they wanted to let me know they were wanting to accept me (I may be overly optimistic with this thought).

I was contacted by POI to discuss the program. They also asked me to fill out a form so they could put my name forward for an internal scholarship. I have already accepted another offer so I turned down the interview.

I just heard from U of S for the social program

I don't know anyone who has done their graduate studies there recently. I do know someone who is currently a PhD student at my university who did her undergrad there. She has nothing but great things to say about the school and the profs. I know it's not really the same though -

I am in the the experimental program with a specialization in social psych. I have already accepted- are you planning to accept your offer? -
I had a potential supervisor from Carleton tell me to let him know if I got a better funding package elsewhere and he'd see what he could do. I did get a better funding package but decided to go to the other school so I didn't pursue this offer to see what would happen. I don't think it is a bad thing to do though. It lets them know other people want you and they should give you more money! Hope this helps

In case anyone is wondering, I got my official offer on February 26th. -
Hi everyone, As of right now this is my top choice school. I'm wondering if people can share their opinions regarding profs, student experience, etc. I'm also wondering when official offers tend to go out (I have been unofficially accepted). Thanks everyone! A

Good to know I'm not alone here!

Hi Everyone, I'm wondering if anyone who applied to the Social psych. specialization has heard anything from CU Boulder. My application still says "submitted". I'm wondering if it may be because I'm an international student... Thanks everyone! A

I had an extremely low quant. score (37th percentile) and I've been accepting into two programs so far (I haven't been rejected from any yet). That being said, I have a really high GPA, great stats grades and did well on the rest of the GRE.

I haven't heard anything from Saskatchewan. From what I've heard they do not conduct interviews for the program I applied to and I don't think they've admitted anyone at this point. I don't know about Alberta.
