Who will be attending NYU with me? Any info about the school is appreciated. I've heard some good things and some not so good things.

I'm stuck between two schools. NYU and St. Xavier. I don't know which one to attend or how to figure it out. My boyfriend of 3 years lives near St. Xavier but my family lives on the east coast. I don't know much about either program. I loved my college experience at nyu but it wasnt in slp. I also know I'm a different person than I was 7 years ago. I'm worried about making the wrong decision. Not to get to personal but how hard is long distance? My boyfriend is a lawyer in Illinois and can't make the move to NYC. Cost wise I'm not too concerned bc nyu undergrad cost me more than I will ever be able to pay back.

I finally got a hold of someone from temple and they said offers will continue to be given until the end of the 2nd week of March. I guess we just have to be patient.

Just some info talked to the department at st. John's and they said offers will continue to go out the next 4-6 weeks... Also, temple said they hope to have all offers out by the end of the 2nd week of March.., I guess we have to be patient for the next month.

I agree! I tried e-mailing Temple haven't heard a thing and portal still says complete and ready for review. I have no idea!

Above poster when did you apply to St. John's? Does anyone know if they send them out in waves? I haven't heard a peep from them or Temple.

I applied to Montclair, St. John's, NYU (alum but not from speech program), and Columbia.

I'll keep looking so far nothing. I don't know what that means.

I haven't heard anything! I'm starting to get nervous. What does it mean if mine still hasn't gone out? IF the rejections and acceptances seem to have been delivered. Perhaps, I was wait listed. I have no idea!
