Topic:The video camera provides such an accurate and convincing record of contemporary life that it has become a more important form of documentation than written records I strongly agree with the speaker and would say as the world advances with technology so should our methods and manners of living. Video recording notable events provides us with records which can be re-lived at any point in the future. This technology can capture the emotions which can be empathised with. Say the grand opening of a central park in a concrete jungle. The importance of this park can be shown by capturing moments of joy that the innocent kids express while playing or the peace and affection expressed by an elderly couple sitting on a bench and holding hands. Moments like these will express the importance of the event in a very realistic demeanor than it could while writing. Searching for records in a library where the secrets of the whole world lie can be tedious and tiresome. Video recordings can be easily accessed in a database. The recording can be easily shared and made to of access to anybody interested with leading websites like YOUTUBE providing the world with insights by the people itself, amongst other attractions, the video recordings of events happening across the world. From events like unboxing of latest technology to graduation events at colleges. Although our ancestors have passed on information of the existence of species, invention of machines, the origin of people and their habits and habitats through written documentation. One can never leach away the importance of these documents as they are the very crux of our existence and living. Documentation by writing has been a traditional method followed by humans and one which should be carried on. As reading broadens ones imagination and expands the brain to new horizons. Although video camera documentation is easy and viable it can also be easily be hampered with and unless great care is taken it may lead to passing on wrong messages. I would conclude by saying that although video camera documentation has its cons it is the more feasible and viable option. Hey! I am planning to give my GRE after a month and have vacations so have the whole day to study for it. I am a little weak at vocab how and from where can i improve my vocab for GRE? Any Advice is helpful!!!!
