Anyone applied to graduate programs at chemical biology and systems biology at Harvard and got news?

 

I'm applying to harvard chemical biology and still waiting on news.

MIT Biology will finish sending their mails by today (Friday Jan 9th).

I'm counting their silence from Dec 1 onwards as a (not unexpected) rejection.

How do you know this? Have they even begun sending invitations?

Did you apply for a specific concentration for Miami PIBS? And by Sackler, are you talking about NYU or Tufts?

 

Biochemistry within PIBS. But I think they're all under the umbrella. and I meant NYU Sackler

Hey y'all,

 

I have been following this forum for quite a while now but this is my first post. I have applied to several graduate programs in genetics and molecular biology but haven't heard beck from any as of today. I am getting very nervous now and am wondering if I should look for backup options if I don't get into any of the programs. Has anyone heard back from Miami PIBS, Tufts- Sackler, UGA or UF? And does anyone know if UCSF-BMS and UT Southwestern DBS are done sending out all of their interview invites?

 

I'd be glad to hear some motivating thoughts from y'all.

Miami got back to me with an interview like 2nd week of December. Sackler sent my invite on 12/24

Mine is January 15-16th. I applied to the immunology program so it could be different dates for different programs?

True - I expressed interest in the Pathology and Translational Medicine / Cell and Mol. Bio programs, so that might be it. I'm a little paranoid because I'm banking on this school in light of my low GPA

When are everyone's NYU Sackler interview dates? Mine is 3/5-6, which seems late. Are the earlier interview dates higher priority or something? And anyone know the post-interview acceptance rate?
