Accepted into University of Maryland - Performance Studies MA/Phd Program. I am officially done waiting on schools to get back to me. I have two great choices, once funding comes in I can make my final choice. I can't believe that its all about to become real! This time next year I will be in a new state starting new program!

Hey Roflbot, I just checked my inbox, still haven't heard anything regarding funding. Hopefully sometime today I will get something. Hoping to hear good news, that just the final piece of the puzzle I am waiting for. Did they send it via email? I will be attending Welcome Week. Are you?

Hello Roflbot3000, I haven't heard anything about UNC Funding yet, just want I was told when I spoke to Dr. Blair. At this point its making me quite nervous about funding but she did say that they need to crunch some numbers because the offer funding for five years. We might end up being in the same cohort!!!

Just stopping in to say 'Hello' and sending positive vibes to everyone. The waiting game sucks, but some advice that I received last year when I was shutout for grad apps was was that 'You will end up where you need to be'!!!! Also, how do you add the 'applied' 'interviewed' tab at the bottom of your reply? Fairly new to this whole thing.

I'm late to the discussion but my top program, has always been my top program but the more I think about it. Funding will play a big part into where I end up next year. Regardless of my options I have at the end of application season, its nice to know you have somewhere to go. All the programs I applied to has faculty members I can work with and support my research, but my top choice has an added component that is just icing on the cake.
