hey,guys. I am facing a choice now and need your help. I applied phd program and got admitted by Univ of Minnesota(IE) and Univ of Connecticut(business school, OM). Both of them are fully funded. These two programs both conduct research in supply chain management through mathematics modelling, which is my interest and future research direction. As a whole, Univ of Minnesota is more famous than UConn. However, OM is in business school, which sounds more attracted than engineering school where IE lies. My career plan is to be faculty in business schools. Could you guys give me some suggestions about how to choose the offer? According to what I heared, the nearly phd graduates in Minnesota(IE) found faculty positions in McGill business school and CUHK business school, which sounds unbelievable. While the nearly phd graduates in UConn(OM) went to Utah and UT-Dallas. Thank you very much!

I also applied the DOTM program, but I did not receive anything from it. It just looks like I didn't apply this program.

GRE: 520V+800Q+3.5AW GPA:3.5/4.0(Undergraduate), 3.7/4.0(Graduate) Two Publications on International Conference, One submitted The schools I apply: Gerogia Tech Lehigh Univ TAMU PSU Univ of Florida Univ of Minnesota Univ of Washington Rutgers NCSU Umass Amherst Univ of Tennessee Not any information. I am so anxious these days and do not know what I should do. just wait? It is too boring. BTW: How does the guy accept admission from TAMU? I asked the secret and she replied that the department usually starts to review the applications from Feburary. In addition, I also apply the Mays Business school(Supply Chain Management Phd Program). Unfortunately, I had got rejection letter from TAMU graduate school....cry...cry...
