I received the phone call and email today from Barry Goldman-Hall. I was accepted into the 2 year Health/Mental Health program. Don't give up hope, people! They are still calling!!!!

I'm still waiting as well! I'm a BSW student there currently and, in case you haven't heard, there are now 80 spots rather than the original 60. I had kind of given up hope on it too but I heard through the grapevine that less than 40 calls have been made so far. Whatever is meant to be, will be...and always have a back-up plan. Social workers are resilient so I have total faith in everyone reading this thread to bounce back! It's less a rejection and more a sign that it isn't our time to be in grad school yet

I have extra letters of recommendation that were sent in. Now, I am hearing that this is a horrible idea and I'm freaking out.

Hi! I hate to be the bearer of bad news but 2014-2015 is the last year that the mental health stipend is available. Santa Clara county ended it I was planning on applying for it too and I'm bummed.

Hello! I also applied to SJSU's MSW program. It was my first and only choice. I am finishing up my BASW at SJSU right now and it is a great program that I love. There are great community connections and resources and I want to continue working in Santa Clara County.
