Just got my letter in Toronto today -
Bombardier CGS Scholarship
14.65 / 20 - entering first year PhD at U of Toronto in the fall
Committee 1 (Fine arts)
So excited!
Ugh same I haven't heard anything....
Also I'm sort of desperately waiting to hear from SUNY Stony Brook about their History/Theory Master's. I feel like I have a great shot of getting in and on their website they mention that results come out in mid-February... but I haven't heard anything yet. Have any of you guys seen or heard anything? Nothing music-related from Stony Brook has popped up from 2015 on the results list so far.
I think you're probably still ok - I'm still waiting on 4, and have received 1 acceptance and 1 rejection thus far. I think we really should be hearing this week or next week!! Wishing you all the best of luck!
Arrrgh ya I'm assuming now that I'm not on my way to Yale, seeing as I haven't heard about an interview yet. Maybe I'll hold out hope for another few days. It was a bit of a long shot for me anyways! Best of luck to all applicants! Can't wait to start hearing about some acceptances for everyone.
Musicology
Applied: 6 --- Columbia, Yale, SUNY Stony Brook, Cornell, McGill, U of T
Accepted: 0/6
Rejected: 0/6
Interviews: 0/6
So exciting to find a thread to do with Musicology and ethnomusicology!
I'm applying for Masters and PhD programs in historical musicology - currently I'm at McGill U in Montreal. I applied to McGill, U of Toronto, Stony Brook, Cornell, Columbia and Yale.
I'm really curious about this whole interview thing, because when I applied, there was no mention of interviews on the websites. I'm hoping that if I make it past first round that I'll maybe get an email requesting an interview... it would at least make me feel like the process is moving forward.
This waiting game is crazy!
When do you all think the latest acceptances are for U.S. and Canada?
