Are you still waiting too? I saw a few more rejections went out yesterday and today. It's reassuring to know someone is in the same boat.

 

Ugh, the waiting game this weekend would be much more bearable if there were some admits on the results page - I even looked around on Twitter to see if there was anyone celebrating, just to get an idea of what the adcom is up to. In the past it seems like they sent both notices out at the same time, and the thought of them sending rejections out before admits seems odd. Maybe they'll be following the undergrad Pi day tradition for some reason? Maybe the Boston blizzard set back the schedule, even with the meeting on Monday? Maybe this is all a practical joke and there is no class of 2017? Jeeze.

 

And thanks thegnuguy and Shoelle for the encouraging thoughts! Long time lurker but it's very welcoming here.

Did the MIT CMS emails all go out at once/were they automated?

 

I haven't heard anything yet from them and my application on the website is still the same, so I don't know if this is good or bad.

I've been accepted into University of Michigan, Columbia and NYU, rejected by Stanford and Georgetown. Honestly funding is such a big influencer that sadly not much else matters. But still, as much as I would love to spend 2 years in Ann Arbor, now that I'm almost 30 and will need a job before I graduate, I feel like being in New York will be a serious advantage. That, having a professor I want to work with, and funding = looks like I'm going to NYU.

Hi all, I applied to Georgetown CERES and SAIS MA with Eurasia concentration. I've heard I'll hear this coming week about CERES and I think SAIS hands out decisions on March 13. Anyone else pretty intent on Georgetown CERES? 

 

I'm also waiting to hear from them. Georgetown normally wouldn't be my first choice but looks like it will all depend on funding.

Hi, Parsons is not part of NYU, it's a part of The New School. It's one of the top-rated design schools in the world so yes, definitely worth your money if you have it.

 Cool! Have you heard back from any schools? I'm so nervous because I don't know when I'll hear back

 

The earliest I expect anything is very late February. I'm also super nervous and there is not much to do to calm down, but I did search for my schools & programs in the search results and got a sense of a calendar that way. It seems schools are pretty consistent from year to year in terms of when they send out decisions.
