  1. I'm using these books for my own studies and they have helped tremendously
  2. Depends on how much time you have before the test and application due dates. If you've taken a practice GRE test, what did you make?
  3. No recommendation on this forum is going to be as beneficial as digging into the websites of the schools you're interested in. Figure out where and who you want to study with, then look at your scores and see if it's feasible. That being said, anytime you're talking about top-notch schools you typically need a grand slam in all areas: recommendations, SOP's, GRE scores, GPA, and research experience; however, from what I understand, if you have acceptable scores (your scores) it's possible to land your dream school, assuming the rest of your application is perfect. Just remember there are people studying and taking the GRE every single day that want into the same programs at the same schools. Some of them might be as qualified (or more) as you, so you might want to consider retaking the test. Then again, maybe you don't!! Dig a little deeper into the forums and you'll find answers to questions you didn't even know you had. These forums are legit, that's why I rarely post anything.... darn near everything has already been said. Good luck Dude!
  4. empowerGRE is taking over!!! Not in a good way, I'm talking about the incessant advertisements. Shameless... I love it!!!!!
  5. It was posted by TakeruK in the Psychology forum.. give the cred where it's due
  6. https://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/scores/get/ Someone posted this not too long ago but I don't remember what forum it was in.. It pretty much says you need 10-15 days after taking the test for scores to arrive
  7. Baylor University has a funded PsyD program. You'd still have to do some research and complete a dissertation, but it's more "people focused" than typical PhD programs. Good luck in your funded PsyD search... I couldn't find very much last year!
  8. What is everyone's impressions of Clinical Psych programs that don't give any indication whatsoever as to average/acceptable GRE scores? University of Colorado at Denver and University of Tennessee are two of my favorite schools due to research fit and physical location, I just don't know how well I'll fare in the application process since there is zero mention about scores on their websites. Thoughts?
