Also! Congratulations to everyone who got into Laurier !!! this is my second year applying and I have been rejected both years !

Just checked my mail ! I received my rejection from Laurier and I received my acceptance package from U of T! It's really real now !!!

I am also wondering how the semesters are broken up? I saw online that registration for 2 year is F/W/S/F/W/S .. does that mean it is 24 months straight for the university of toronto 2 year social work program ? Thanks ! Christina

I am in the same situation as you. I haven't heard back from u of t, windsor or laurier. I emailed the graduate admissions at windsor on friday beca use like your said some people have been accepted and rejected. When I get an answer back I'll let you know! Hang in there !!

Just a reminder for everyone to update their results when they hear back. It helps this year applicants and future applicants so we don't have to scroll through so many pages to know when people have been accepted , waitlisted or rejected

Welcome ! And kudos to you for reading all 80 pages ! I have subscribed to receive notifications sent to my email and sometimes I have 20 to 30 emails within a hour ☺ this is a great support network !!! And I know what you mean completely, seeing others get accepted could make you lose faith in yourself ! But if you haven't heard back from any schools yet don't doubt your self !!!! Its hard to not think negatively but no news is not necessarily bad news ☺ hang in there !!!!

I have been reviewing these forums pretty closely and I have not seen that ? I have seen that someone was accepted for working professionals but not 2 year. But if it is good news that is good news for both of us ! Lol ☺

My status hasn't changed for u of windsor . it still says referred to department. If anyone hears about anyone being accepted can you please reply to the forum . I am hoping that in this case , no news is good news ☺

Happy Monday Everyone!!! I have anticipated this day to hear back from U of T but I have to agree with Bettyg with that I am not holding out much hope either. After reviewing the forums from last year everyone seemed to be accepted the same time. I think that they may change ROSI for everyone at one time... With that being said, I hope Windsor sends out their results this week. I feel as if they were pretty early for their one year so I assume we should be hearing back soon!

I have yet to email Angela and I feel like everyone has had their fair share of emails. Maybe I will use my first one on this to see if more acceptances will be going out. I mean it's impossible that only 2 people out of this whole forum will get in right ?!?!!

I also looked back and I believe it was espressom that said they received an acceptance letter and their ROSI did not change ... meaning we can get a letter in the mail before our status online changes ? I'm at work til 10 but can someone go check their mailbox??? Lol This is painful

Just a heads up for everyone who applied to Windsor. I just checked the forums from last year and the first round of acceptances went out March 14. Last year that day landed on a Friday so tomorrow could be the day !!!!!

Hi Betty ! I think your experience is great and I applaud your courage to start a job in the UK ! That sounds like a great experience ! I have similar experience: 550 hours as a nanny 1000 hours working at the alzheimer society 170 hours for my practicum 70 hours for a social worker internship 100 hours at Big brothers big sisters 100 hours in a child learning centre 500 hours at a hospice 1000 hours as a soccer coach and soccer camp instructor (not really related but though I'd add it to my resume) I put a note on my reference that the alzheimer society is a contract position and I will accumulate 1900 hours by June. I hope they will take that into consideration but after hearing people re submitting their resume it really makes me want to resubmit one with extra hours. Christina

Thanks for the information! It certainly does make me a little more hopeful that I make the cut for the average that they usually take. But indeed, it could convince more students to apply !!
