I attended and it went really well. I was on the fence and it helped me decide to accept their offer.

If it's any help I was faced with the same dilemma and decided to chose Hopkins IPS. I really enjoyed my visit and I've heard only good things thus far.

This is an update. As my signature suggests, I chose the MPP from IPS at Hopkins. I couldn't refuse the money. There were a lot of other really great offers and it was really hard turning down Carnegie Mellon but alas, I think I found the program that is right for me. Good luck to all!

I heard a rumor that the admissions office is really behind at GPPI due to snow and the fact that they only have two people reading this year. Though I'm nervous too I find this info calming. Good luck everyone!

Yes, congrats on your acceptance! I see that last year the acceptances were spanned out from mid Feb to mid to late March so I'll refrain from having a full-on heart attack as of yet!

According to the SIPA website they usually receive 2500 for MIA and 900 for MPA (see quote and link below). Now if you read their blog the day after the deadline for the MIA and MPA they say they received 1200 for both programs online. Unless they receive a very large portion of their applications in the mail and after the deadline it appears they received less then what they report as normal. At first I was confused too. The "results search" tab that is under thegradcafe.com logo. It's adjacent to the "forums" tab, which should be highlighted if you are reading this. I also read something in a broader discussion that some of these may be fake. we should see if people start rolling in with glee as they did in the GPPI discussion.

In fact I think US News got it right here. They have some of the best placements and our extremely highly regarded in the policy world. I should add that this is the second oldest policy school in the country. You can still apply, the deadline is Feb 1.

I checked after I read this and they just updated mine to complete. I submitted on the 3rd of Jan. Hope that helps!
