if i were you, i would try to adapt my senior thesis to art history somehow. apart from being about art history and good, the most important thing is that your writing sample is sophisticated and shows you can do your own research.

do you think we should assume we were rejected by yale if we haven't been contacted yet?

a girlfriend of mine is in one of the contemporary ma programs over at the courtauld at the moment. she found out way later than her other friend, because all the supervisors let their students know at different times, so i wouldn't worry.

none of mine had when i checked on the weekend. do you think they would put an acceptance there without emailing you first, or is that only a good way to find out if you're rejected?

does anyone have any guesses which unis will sent out acceptances this week? based on last year Columbia seems like it might be imminent.

i wouldn't worry about gre scores, if you're still interested. someone just posted a columbia phd acceptance on the board who had not that great scores, below what columbia says on its site. good luck!

does anyone know what the process for IFA interviews is? do they interview shortlisted candidates and then choose? has anyone heard of someone having an interview and not getting in? thanks! x
