HI yweang! I am not worried. I actually got into two universities and have accepted one and leaning towards it. It just makes the decision much easier to have all the responses; be it acceptance or rejections.

So York is actually thinking people are going to be sitting around waiting for them, given that most schools have actually sent our decisions? It's a bit ridiculous

Social work 93 is there something significant since you submitted your application? If not my take would be to just be patient, you don't want do come across as pestering them? This is an extremely busy time for them. Can you imagine if all the other applicants decided to send in am updated resume?.... Just a suggestion but the ultimate decision is yours !!!

first round of applicants have been offered admission. Second round MAY go out after the responses have been received. I think I saw somewhere on an acceptance letter that they had to respond in a month. I believe the first round of applicants received their offer March 11th! If you are still waiting for U of T you may hear back around that time. They are prob waiting for all the responses before sending out rejection letters. That my take on it. I doubt it has to do with alphabetical order or grades specifically!

@wxyyyz are you in the 2 year or advanced standing for York?

Sdp732 did ryerson say when the decisions would be coming out? Plus all those applying to u of t. Just be patient I am sure the letters would be coming out pretty soon. At this point if you did not receive a letter(I am one of them) it's safe to say we did not make it to the first round of considerations. Maybe they are waiting for responses from the first round before second round offers. Just be patient, I sure there'll be another wave of responses in a couple weeks !

Smpalesh dont give up until like you said April! I have seen a couple people decline/undecided about Laurier so dont give up! and at the end of the day it comes down to circumstances.....

ah when will U of T send out notifications, at this point I am strongly convinced I did not get into the program which is okay as I have changed my mind about the direction I chose at U of T. But it would be nice to get these notifications so i can move on with my life....lol Anyone heard from Ryerson or York?

expressom and jj89 no I do not know anyone who has done the program. My reasons for Calgary are purely financial. I have family and a friend out there, so transitioning would be easier for me. I want to take the summer to relax and rest rather than moving lol. expressom, Carleton is more structural, it interested me because of my background in Sociology, now I am not sure......I think Calgary needs to be notified by the 4th! thats so soon!!!!

Smpalesh I have heard from Carleton and Calgary! Looks like I'll be going to Calgary but we'll see I just want to hear from all unis so I can make my decision. Try to cheer up about Laurier, the good thing is that it wasnt a rejection. Everything really happens for a reason maybe u of t is where you are supposed to be! I mean what are the chances, getting on the wait list twice! But if Laurier is where you are meant to go, you'll get off that list

Social work 93 I got into Carleton but I may not be going there so something might open up! Also I applied to ryerson haven't heard anything yet! Smpalesh the social justice and diversity stream sounds very interesting I was thinking about it but decided on the children and their families, I am starting to think that might be the popular one lol Still waiting hopefully we hear by next Tuesday. I need to let a school know by then

@Selis, I havent heard from U of T or York either...although as time goes on, i am loosing more hope I got in. I am still optimistic until the letter comes in! and maybe you got on the waitlist....Wait until the end of March before concluding anything...good luck to you in waiting

I am excited for all those laurier emails this morning! Hope to hear from York and Ryerson soon. I think York mails out letters, i wish they'd do it by email just like the other universities.....
