I was waitlisted at Baylor. Not sure how many others are on the waitlist, I only see one on grad cafe besides myself. After speaking with the DGS at Baylor, he sounded optimistic about those on the waitlist receiving offers this year.
Someone just reported an acceptance to Boston College via postal service. After looking at previous years for Boston College it seems characteristic of them to do a few early admits via postal service, then some via email and a mix of rejections in there. As well - it looks like they make some additional late acceptances, hard to say if they are from waitlists or not.
I was also surprised to only see one. Out of curiosity does Toronto usually send masters and PHD acceptances out at same time?
Also, Sid I saw the prediction for SLU is 5 days after the application deadline and SLU says not to expect responses until mid March on their website.
Just received word that I am on the waitlist for Baylor. To those other students on the waitlist do not despair about being on the waitlist as Alex Pruss indicated that this year they are committed to bringing in 5-6 graduate students as they have had smaller entering classes the last couple of years.
As a side note: I finally decided to register and post here after years of reading admissions data and reading the forum. This is my first round of applications and I am hoping that it will go well. Best of luck to everyone in the process.
