Hey Guys, I saw that all the three interview weekends have passed according to the dates specified on the website. Yet I haven't heard anything from them at all.Should I just assume that I have been rejected??? I don't have any acceptances yet....Oh God!! I am so not ready for another rejection

@ Sevi: I also applied to IMGP program at UTHSC-SA and emailed the program director to inquire about the status of my application in mid-January. He replied me back that I should be able to hear from them between Feb 20-March 3. I am still waiting on hearing from 6 other schools. The waiting process is driving me insane. But can you share your stat???My GRE score was 510-V, 740-Q, 3.5 in AW. I had a semester of undergraduate research at not such a reputed school in Louisiana but did manage to graduate in 3 years with 3.72 GPA. Post my graduation, I worked as a Research Assistant at Tennessee for almost a year. I thought I had built up quite a solid background to apply as a Phd student. But I already have been rejected from UIUC and Penn-state, which was quite devastating. On top of that, I have not been invited for any interviews at all. Can you believe, its almost the end of February...... I am just way too nervous for now.... BTW, Congrats on your acceptances .....

I guess I will write them back again. And it was from SUNY-STONY Brook. Hopefully, it will turn out as an acceptance. I am still waiting to hear back from 6 other schools and I have not been invited to any interview except my safety school. The saga of patience continues....................

Hey guys, I contacted one of the graduate schools today and they emailed me back saying that my application is on hold. What does that mean????

I have applied to SUNY-stonybrook in the department of biology! I really dont have any idea how tough is it to get in??? I have always been a good student than rest of my fellow chinese students but GRE came as a shock for me. I took GRE twice and scored 370V, 750Q, 3.5 AW for the first time and 400V, 750Q, 3.5 AW for the second time. I did a research in my senior year in plant biology which is irrelevant to my degree of interest. My GPA is 3.71! Do you think I have any chances???
