Hi purplegrey, I chose Carleton largely based on location but both are very good programs and schools. I currently live in the K-W region but I'm originally from Kingston and I want to get closer to home. I think I just need a change of scenery!

I officially declined my offer to Laurier today, good luck to those on the wait list!

My last name starts with a W.

I got an email about a half hour ago and I have also been accepted to Laurier! I've already accepted my offer to Carleton so I will be declining the offer but it was great news to find out this morning! Congratulations to everyone else who has been accepted so far and good luck to all of those still waiting!

@purplegrey --I was accepted to the Carleton 2 year and I have accepted my offer. I think the only other person on here who was accepted is Bagheera, I believe it was also her intention to accept.

I finally heard from Carleton today, around 4:15pm. I have been accepted and offered the same funding as Bagheera!

I still haven't heard. I wonder if they're answering the applications alphabetically? My last name starts with a W. :/

I'm getting nervous! Hopefully I'll hear something soon from Carleton!

Also, it's officially Monday, it's time to start obsessing again!

@Social Work 93 --I know I checked my status on Thursday and nothing had changed but I didn't check it again until yesterday, so I'm assuming that mine also changed on Friday, same as Bagheera.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking on this forum for awhile, but I wasn't able to post due to a botched registration but I'm finally here! I've applied to two 2 year MSW programs, at Carleton and Laurier. I'm currently located in the Kitchener-Waterloo area but I'm actually hoping for Carleton because I'm from eastern Ontario originally and I'd like to move closer to home. I haven't heard back from either school yet, but I'm impatiently waiting! My status for Carleton has changed to: Review in progress by Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs, so hopefully that means something good!
