I applied there and haven't even heard anything back. I think they are just slow with replies.
Also, as far as I know, Davis doesn't have a system for letting applicants know their application status. There's that website that tells you what they've received, but nothing to tell you what stage in the process your application is in, I don't think.
What do you think you will do?
To those who have been shut out before, what did you do in the year between reapplying? How did you maintain relationships with letter writers, explain year off, etc. etc.
I am in the same boat with Oregon. I imagine that if waitlists have been sent out, then so too have the acceptances, and so the rejections are the last step. But, then, what is taking so long? I just want confirmation.
Then you look at the acceptance thread for last year and accepts are all over the place. There's no rhyme and reason to this machine. Best to probably stay away from this place haha.
