  1. I got it too...300 applications is a lot. Hopefully it'll all fall into place.
  2. Nope..I haven't gotten anything about being accepted or denied. I'm gonna pretend like it's a good thing and just keep waiting.
  3. I hope so! I didn't expect to be in the first round. I have tons of research experience and took prerequisite classes for slp, but my undergrad GPA was on the low end
  4. I got it yesterday. They don't go through them until time for review, so it's just letting us know that they are looking at them now. They're trying to get the first round out this week...basically they just want us to know we're being picked apart now. I've realized grad schools don't really follow the steps one would think are common sense...they just do their own thing.
  5. That happened to me too! I sent that in like 2 months ago and its just now going thru. Then I didn't even have a code and I had to email them and be like hey so the number is missing. I finally did get it to work, but I was like this doesn't seem like a good sign.
  6. Did anyone else get a random email from Redford yesterday saying your application was under review and to set up an account with an ID # they gave you?
  7. I like it a lot, but it's definetely a change of pace from cities. I did undergrad at Tech, so while I haven't been in the Radford area often, the area as a whole is a small town vibe. You've got your major chains and some nice local restaurants, but nothing spectacular. If you need something nice to wear or want a real shopping experience, you have to drive 2 or 3 hours.
  8. Assuming makes me nauseous! No response for the RSVP, which is odd because I've received responses from other schools. Maybe it's just how they do it there. It's a little annoying because convenience wise, Radford would be my top choice (I'm already in the area).
  9. I spoke to the professor in charge of this scholarship thing, she said it was separate from admissions. So I'm assuming hearing from them is irrelevant. Unless she refused to tell me. In my mind it makes sense that they wouldn't send that out to everyone...why would you want to go through an application for a scholarship or fellowship if you don't plan on accepting them. I did notice the Scottish one is for only Virginia residents though. Could be why you didn't hear anything. I didn't get a plain funding opportunities email like mimblewimble though...I didn't think about the open house not being until April 3rd until you mentioned it was way after we hear from them. I RSVPd without thinking about it. That's awkward.
  10. I just spoke to someone and they said they're trying to get the first round of acceptances out before Spring break...I'm feeling even more nervous now.
  11. I got an email yesterday about a Scottish Rite Fellowship and the open house email! ChatterBrain I almost did the same thing.
