Knittingqueen- thanks for letting us know! Congrats on making the waitlist. I am feeling very anxious to get home and check my mailbox now!

Oh yes! I have been searching job and it seems most want MSW or at least a couple years experience with the BSW. It just shows why it is so hard to get into MSW even with the BSW because so many people are having to upgrade. I feel your pain!

I wonder what the chances of still getting accepted to U of T advanced standing are at this point. It seems several waves of acceptances already went out February 11th and 24th, and I think after that. Starting to feel hopeless!

Thanks everyone. No I haven't actually received a waitlist yet, but am hoping it is that and not a rejection haha! If you are waitlisted is there any way to tell where you rank on that list? Good luck everyone!

Way to go! That is so exciting that it literally just changed!! Where does it say the "status", I didn't even know about ROSI so I just signed up for it now. I have only been checking on SGS until now.

Littlelass, congrats on getting in! I am just wondering if prior to getting the acceptance letter if your status online changed from "under review" to something else. I am getting paranoid as mine still remains "under review". Thanks!

Hey all, I just joined this group. I applied for advanced standing MSW at 3 schools. I just got a letter from Laurier, not accepted. My grades were all a's, but I don't have the work experience. The letter cited 2-4 years experience for most applicants, with 3500 hours being for a two year term. This is definitely discouraging for my two other applications! When people start hearing from York and U of T do they mind sharing? I believe we won't be hearing from either until Mid-March and with the possible strike action at both schools this could be delayed. My U of T still says under review, but it is a little discouraging that people have already heard back yet! Congrats to those who got in. Take some deep breaths of relief
