I'm sort of in the same boat - have one acceptance, but have heard nothing from the other three places I applied to (one of which I interviewed at). My sense is I'm probably on a waiting list. Would be great to hear from people who went through this in previous years!

Has anyone received an offer of funding from Toronto?

 

I don't know how it works at Canadian universities, but my POI emailed me to say I'd been made an offer (PhD Medieval Studies) but I haven't heard anything official yet. That was two weeks ago and he said I'd receive something in the week following the conversation we had.

 

I should probably email someone about this, shouldn't I...

 

Sigh. They don't make it easy, do they?

I'm in the same position (accepted for PhD at University of Toronto). Is it appropriate to ask them directly when I can expect notification?
