  1. while I'm reading it, I don't think think it sounds like that big of an error. I think that delighted, is an accurate way to describe how anyone would feel when being accepted. I think if you had said something like "Of course, I expected to be so highly ranked.." or something along those lines, that would be more arrogant. So I wouldn't worry to much about it. congrats on being #1 :-)

    Fellowship

Ok maybe I'm just stupid, but I just got an e-mail from UC Santa Cruz notifying me of my admittance and a fellowship of x dollars.... So my question: Is a fellowship like a scholarship or is it more like a loan? Help me I'm so confused.....
  3. I was accepted to UC Santa Cruz MA in Math Education
  4. at least i can now stop obsessively checking my mail box, i'll just assume it's a rejection and focus on what i need to do for uc santa cruz
  5. So I called UC Berkeley Education Dept. to make sure my letter hadn't been lost, since I've heard from my other schools already. He said "unfortunatley we can't give out results over the phone, but you're in the stack that is going out today or tomorrow." I'm thinking since the prospective student day is on Monday, and that is when my letter should arrive here, that I'm probably in the bad stack... or else they would have wanted me to come visit their campus. What's even worse, is that Monday is our spring break, and mail is not delivered, so I have to wait a whole other week just to find out :-( what do you think? am i right?
