  3. University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) UNCG CSD Grad School Class of 2017 Closed group, but request to join and you'll be accepted! https://www.facebook.com/groups/794858290600866/
  4. People are asking about facebook groups on the results page, so I thought I'd make a centralized place to collect these links. If you have a link, share! I titled this topic "admitted fall 2015" in case programs starting this fall have different lengths or "class of" dates. To make this topic easy to search, please do not post requests, and check to make sure your link has not already been posted. Please include the following in each post: Full name of school as well as any common abbreviations Full title of group as it appears on Facebook If applicable, how to join the group (who to contact to join a private group) The link! Thanks! I hope this will make things easier for everyone!
  5. Like others have said, it definitely depends on the school, but I know quite a few people who were waitlisted multiple places last year and ended up with multiple offers. It depends on which schools too - my friends were applying to the same in-state schools as each other. Since it was mostly the same group of people applying to the same programs, once the first "round" of acceptances chose, tons of spots opened up. So if you have several applications in one state to similar programs, I'd say there's a really good chance. But not so much if you have applications spread out between different states and schools with different levels of competitiveness.
  6. Also, for anyone who missed it, ECU's results will be delayed. I received this email yesterday: "I had wanted to give you answers by the end of the day today, but our analysis has delayed us. We hope to notify you as quickly as possible and we are sorry for the wait. We know how difficult it is and we are working diligently to give you answers as quickly as possible. For the many of you who started Spring Break today, please be safe and enjoy some relaxation time. I hope to be able to email you an answer by the end of next week at the latest." (sent March 6)
  7. I got an acceptance from UNCG last night at 11:40!! I woke up my mom calling her
  8. Hey all, I didn't see a topic for specifically North Carolina schools, so I'm starting one. Other than UNC-Chapel Hill and Western Carolina, have any other schools notified applicants? Also, those of you in post-bacc or undergrad programs, what do people/professors at your school think about other schools in the area as far as reputation and who they tend to accept?
