  1. Well, depends, what you mean by worth it, and if you have any other offers from other universities and how much you want to study at Hertie. It is not cheap, if you have to pay for tuition and living yourself, it will be around 49,000 Euros for two years, which is quite a lot. If you applied to any other scholarship like DAAD, your costs will go down. The Hertie web-page has a section on scholarships, you can also look there. If you know German, there are several German foundations, like Boll Foundation, and others. Good luck.
  2. two weeks is not that long. Are you going to contact them or waiting for them to contact? I am in somewhat similar situation. I have been accepted longer than that though, I think around a month or so, but haven't heard from them and am a little worried.
