  1. I received an email from the dept head stating that we could not register until our orientation (June 4). https://m.facebook.com/groups/1689529601274719?tsid=0.9269121242687106&source=typeahead I hope that link words for the fb group (it's Kean 2015 incoming grad slps if that link doesn't work)
  2. I don't know how true it is, but I heard that in the past William Paterson sent out acceptances in waves. I received my acceptance about 2 weeks ago and a deposit is due on April 15, if they are doing waves I would assume that the next round of waves would hear after April 15. I cant say anything for Seton Hall as I did not apply, but I heard back from Kean well over a month ago and deposits were due before I even heard back from any of my other schools. Give Kean admissions a call and ask for Brenda - she has been EXTREMELY helpful to me throughout this process and I assume she can tell you if there are still some decisions that have not been sent. Also, the address they sent my response to was slightly different then what I put on my application - if they made this mistake to others it is possible some letters have not been delivered. Good luck!
  3. I received my acceptance from WP about two weeks ago.
  4. Just received an acceptance to William Paterson. I am not sure if they sent out all acceptances as I have heard that they work in waves, but their deposit is due April 15 and their graduate assistantship application is due April 1st, so I would think they may have sent out all acceptances given that the deadline is so soon for the GA.
  5. When I contacted Kean in dec to see if they had received a rec letter of mine they told me they had received over 750 applicants at that time - 900 by Jan wouldn't shock me!
  6. Nothing here either. I saw some students were told their application was being reviewed, but I never even got that and I submitted mine via CSDCAS about 2 weeks before the deadline.
  7. I am in the same boat! I currently take classes at Kean in their SLP Pre-Professional Program and I really find their faculty and staff to be extremely helpful. Also, Kean doesn't have a cohort program so it is more flexible what classes you take when, they also offer a few online courses, and later afternoon/evening classes while Montclair's courses are mainly during the day, but I don't really know a lot of the more specific things about Montclair (like just how helpful their professors are) because I have not taken any classes there.
  8. Just got an email from Montclair saying I was accepted into the program! Official letter to follow in via USPS.
  9. That would and last year Kean was undergoing their ASHA evaluation so they sent acceptances a little later as well.
  10. I have been checking too and it still says Application is Under Review. I think I read in the forums last year that applicants heard back in April? I was surprised because I heard back from Kean and they want their deposit by the 18th (tomorrow), but at their open house they said that they try to coordinate with other programs in the area to get all decisions out around the same time and before deposit deadlines....Unfortunately, that's does not seem to be the case this year.
  11. I have been accepted into Kean and have sent in my deposit already. I have not heard back from the two other schools in NJ that I applied to (Montclair or William Paterson), but I have taken courses at Kean, as part of their SLP Pre-Professional Program, and have really liked the way the faculty has such pride in their program.
