That's how I feel too! I'm waiting on Mercy too, hopefully they start to pull from the waitlist as the offers are declined rather than waiting until after the 28th, which is the date those who were accepted need to let them know by. Best of luck to you!!

I haven't yet either! Wonder what the hold up is. Didn't realize this was from 2014, lol. Still haven't heard from them regardless, anyone else in the same boat?

That's so disheartening to hear, I was going to e-mail and ask as well. Guess we'll just have to keep the faith as best we can.

I interviewed about 3 weeks ago and I still haven't heard either. It's my top choice so im very anxious!

Iona's waitlist this year apparently has 60 people on it, and I'm one of them. According to ASHA Edfind, last year their target class size was 15. I sincerely hope that number has increased because 60 seems like a ridiculously high number and is extremely discouraging, but now that I see other schools with that number or higher for their wait lists i feel a little better.

Is anyone still waiting for word from Mercy?

Yes, keep your hopes up!! I know that it's much easier said than done, but that's what I keep telling myself. I haven't heard from all of my schools yet, so at this point while the unknown is nerve wracking I guess It's better than bad news.. This is such a stressful process!

For all those wondering about Iona's waitlist, I e-mailed them this morning and got this response: "Yes, the waitlist is ranked and admission decisions will be offered in order of rank. Offers are made if and once an accepted student notifies us that they will not be attending Iona. Only students who are offered admission will be notified. It is difficult to give an exact timeline, as the waitlist process is more fluid than the acceptance process." The assistant director of admissions is very nice, I hope this little bit of information helps! Still a waiting game when all is said and done

I was at 12pm so we just missed each other! I know, it's so nerve wracking to look back on the results page and try to determine when exactly they'll be sending out more decisions based on past trends. I feel like I'm crazy but I just want to know already! I'd say based on the past two years we may be waiting until mid-April..

I also interviewed on the 19th and haven't heard back! I was perusing through the results page and from what I gathered they'll probably be sending out most decisions mid-April. What time did you interview?

Ugh so sorry to hear that you're in the same boat. Are you keeping your spot on the list, or just accepting another offer? I'm still waiting for most of my schools so everything is all still so up in the air.

Just received a letter from Iona stating I've been wait listed. This waiting game is starting to take a toll on me.

Ama, the same thing just happened to me. I was expecting an admissions decision in the mail because someone on the results page said they e-mailed and they replied stating that all decisions had been mailed out, but all I got was info on their Clinical Communication Certificate program, which is something they've already emailed about. I'm getting nervous!

My friend thinks they are notifying alphabetically, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. I hope they let us know by today, because I'm assuming that they'll be out of the office from Friday-Tuesday morning since they are catholic affiliated and it's Easter week.

I saw that too. Keeping my fingers crossed that acceptances are waiting for us!!
