I might not have recieved Fulbright, but I will still be in London! I have applied for aid through school and other scholarships, so I will see you there!
-
Congrats everybody!! Can't vote because I've reached my quota.
-
Not Selected. Kinda knew when I didn't get the interview.
-
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! That is all.
-
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll get some great Fulbright news to balance that out... and sustain you.
-
Yeah, you're probably right. Although, that may be why the week has been so quiet. Maybe they are trying to push through the countries they have left? Probably not, but let that hope get us through the weekend.
-
I've reached my positive vote quota Anyway... Congratulations!!!!
-
I'm pretty sure it was May last year and the years prior. Hopefully this means a lot of countries (maybe all!!!!) will be notified by the 31st?!!?! They don't usually open the competition before applicants from the previous year are notified, do they?
-
Sorry. There is still hope. Congratulations on making it this far!
-
Congratulations? I'm not sure if it's a good thing because you seem to want the grant more than the job? I don't know, but they wouldn't interview you if they didn't think you could do the job and do it well!
-
Sorry Fingers crossed for Fulbright for you!
-
They think something is wrong with me at work because I am laughing so HARD. It's funny because it's true!
-
So am I, although I am pretty certain my time ended when I didn't get invited for an interview, but it doesn't help me worry any less.
-
Those are fairly large numbers, but last year the UK had nearly 1000 applicants... In comparison, not so much.
-
Probably because a lot of the larger applicant pools have heard back. That is, except for the UK of course. All I feel is a looming sense of dread.
-
My heart hurts a little more everytime I see an e-mail in my university account and it's not a Fulbright notification. I thought at some point the anxiousness I feel while waiting to hear back would diminish, but it hasn't, not even a little. UK where are those notifications?!
-
I had dream that Fulbright wanted to verify some my information, but whenever I tried to pick up the paper it all melted away and I couldn't see the number, so I tried e-mailing them instead my computer became all floppy like a piece of paper and I couldn't type! Gotta love anxiety!
-
Wow, A lot of updates! Congrats to everyone! Even if you didn't get it you made it this far and that says a lot! (UK notifications where are you?)
-
I am not crying because I haven't heard anything back from IIE. My eyes are just watering from staring at my e-mail screen for 8 HOURS STRAIGHT!!! Congrats to those accpeted to Andora and Jordan!!
-
Haha. I definitely am. I woke about 10 times in the middle of the night every time my e-mail notification went off.
-
That makes me feel a bit better. I applied for the partnership award with University College London (UCL). I got accepted back in November, which was exciting, but kinda got overshadowed by my worrying about Fulbright. It would be wonderful to have the award, but I plan to attend even if I don't. I really, really, want it, though.

Haha I was shocked too. So, far just the one nightmare. I applied for a UK study grant. I am pretty sure it is the end of the road for me because I did not get invited for a telephone interview, but I am just as nervous as everybody else and pretty excited for those persons who have recieved their grants. Thanks for the welcome!

Hello, I am new to the post. I have been lurking for a few days. It's has been so nice to find other people freaking out as much as me! I don't think I have ever had such anxiety over anything in my life. I mean, I actually had a nightmare about this thing. Anyway, glad to have find some other worries and now I can leave my friends and family alone for a while.
