    Crowdfunding

Hello everybody I was accepted for a Master in Geneva. That's awesome! Well, not to much: Unfortunately, no Scholarship. The problem is, i am running out of time and I only have two more options of Scholarships that would barely cover six months out of the two years, leaving a gap of financial need. I am applying to them but with little hope of being chosen. I thought about a loan, but the interest rates here in Brazil are extremely high these days. It is the latest and most dreadful option. It can easily reach more than 20% a year. And costs are about 50,000 dollars. I decided to try a crowdfunding and I want to know your opinions and hints about this mean of funding. I am also leaving the link there if someone want to help me with donations. I would be extremely grateful Forever! Sharing it would be helpful too https://www.youcaring.com/tuition-fundraiser/help-a-student-get-to-geneva/325442 Thanks in advance
  3. Hello everybody! I got accepted for the Master on International Law, but I was denied any Scholarship. I have been trying to get other scholarships and it's getting. They don't understand that I have to quit my job. I have little options, so I decided to launch a fundraiser for this. If anyone could me help me, even by sharing it, I would be forever thankful. And I may also send Swiss Chocolates! https://www.youcaring.com/tuition-fundraiser/help-a-student-get-to-geneva/325442
  4. I was accepted for International Law, with no scholarship. I have to find other sources of funding, otherwise I can't maintain myself there.
  5. Thank you Mascha, It would help me a lot if you send me these site links! I appreciate your idea and willingness. I hope my little biography helps you I am from Brazil, South America. 29yo. I grew up in a background with financial hardships and little future choices. But I managed to be accepted into the Law Faculty of University of São Paulo, which is the best and most competitive in Brazil. There, my GPA was 8.1 out of 10. I took part in some extraclasses activies related to International Law. During the graduation, I have been an intern for almost 4 years, so I have experience in several matters of law, namely civil, commercial, consumer, labour, administrative, m & a, banking and companies law. I took another exam, this time to be a civil servant in the State Court of São Paulo, and I have three years of experience there, and I have been promoted twice. Now I work assisting a Higher Judge, i.e, a State Supreme Court Judge. Just before July, I'll complete a Specialisation (Post graduation Lato Sensu) on International Law by the School of Magistrates of São Paulo. Also, before graduation, I worked for two years as a graphic designer. Summing up, almost 5 years of professional experience and 4 years as an intern.
  6. I was admitted for the Law Faculty, International Law. But my scholarship admission got refused on the first round! I am happy but it is a major problem for me. Without funding, I can't maintain myself there. =(
  7. I really think they are releasing scholarship decisions for all candidates at the same time, and (I hope) that might be tomorrow or friday, according to the guy who called the department of admission before.
  8. About the scholarship, taking in consideration what people above told us (they called IHEID), it should also be out by tomorrow or friday, together with the results of the admission. Mine might take a little longer =(, for there was a problem with a document, which is now under processing.
  9. Applied for International Law. Also still under consideration
