For people who are applying/have applied and accepted an ETA for the Fulbright:
Did you bring family or a partner along, or do you plan to? My partner is currently awaiting further correspondence, of course, but I'd like to hear if anyone has had to deal with/or plans to be spending 10 months in Germany with nothing to do.
Naturally, I'd like to do some tutoring (or anything really) to earn some euros, but I have no idea if I'd absolutely need to get a work visa to offer English tutoring. I imagine that's my best bet at contributing a little, monetarily at least.
Has anyone else had experience with getting part-time work as a spouse/partner of a ETA recipient?
