In state, it's about 11,000 per year. Out of state it's about 22,000 per year. That's without fees.

It's so encouraging to hear that a lot of you turned down the more expensive out of state school! Everyone I've talked to has told me to go to the instate school as long as it is accredited and is acceptable overall. Also, I'm getting a full-ride in state, so it would have been ridiculous to accept a $60,000 pile of debt instead, but it's still so hard to turn down your dream school!

Hey you guys! I would really appreciate some insight as well. I'm in the same boat. I have been offered a full-tuition graduate assistantship plus a stipend at an instate school, but my family and friends all live in Arizona, and I'm ready for a change of pace. I keep imagining that I will regret spending almost 50k total on the out of state school, but I also absolutely love the program. I guess my question boils down to this: Do you think I will regret going to a free program that I don't prefer, or a pricey program that I am excited about? Thanks!

I think you can take them anywhere, BUT...when I visited UT Austin this summer, they specifically said that they would not accept ANY community college transcripts...which seems a little snooty to me. But, you might want to take that into consideration, and call the schools you would like to attend just to double check. Good luck! And good job commuting so far! dannng!
