Hi Everyone!
I am considering applying to master's programs in London in the field of mental health. The U.K. has a plethora of degree options. In the long run, I would like to work with the SMI population as a clinician, gain my PhD in clinical psychology, and be able to work in either the U.S.A. or the U.K.
Some programs I've looked at are:
MSc Mental Health Studies at King's College
MSc in Foundations in Clinical Psychology & Health Services at Goldsmiths
MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at UCL
MSc in Psychosocial Interventions at Bucks New University
I need advice as to which kind of degree will be easiest to practice with in the U.S. and which is employable in the U.K. Also, any information that is pertinent to being able to work between the two countries would be very helpful (i.e. accreditations to look for, types of programs to avoid, licensure considerations, etc.).
