Deep breath! They start by talking about the program, they give you time to ask questions, you write the essay (they give you a 1-page article related to speech, you just have to write a short summary of it, just 2 or three paragraphs), you have an individual 15-minute interview with a faculty member, then you go on a tour lead by current grad students! It's all low-pressure, all of the faculty members are very nice and welcoming, this is just a chance for you to get to know them, and for them to get to know you!
