GCF999- Finally heard back today about research in Nepal, but I didn't get it! Good luck on your project though!

I agree- I don't even understand how it would take so long for them to get back to us. I don't know of many other scholarships with a 6-7 month waiting period!

GCF999- have they told you what day in August the student researchers need to be in Kathmandu yet?

No I still haven't heard anything! I've been checking my email all day. Has anyone else who applied to Nepal found out yet? Thanks! June 18th is the date for DC right? When do you have to be in Nepal by? I'm trying to figure out summer plans, if I end up getting the Fulbright.

Really?? I haven't heard from Nepal yet! I wonder what that means. Congratulations!! Would you be able to tell me the dates of the orientation in DC and in Kathmandu? Did they send that to you yet?

Applicants to Nepal- They updated the country information page, it says that orientation begins in mid-July in Kathmandu this year! This seems really early, I can't believe we haven't found out if we've gotten in yet. http://us.fulbrightonline.org/countries/selectedcountry/nepal EDIT: actually, sorry, that's 2016. Not sure about this year's orientation dates!

LizM and GCF999- I'm also waiting on research in Nepal! Did either of you interview with the Fulbright Commission there via Skype? They told me that I'd probably hear back in early April...so hopefully that means soon. I was hoping for this week but I'm not sure if that's going to happen. I also have to get back to other job/scholarship applications within the next week or two.
