How important is the funding for you? UW has a very prestigious program, not everyone is accepted there. Additionally, if you go there it would be easier to get a funding PhD

BrainDrain87: when I received the acceptance letter I wrote them and asked for funding and thats the information they gave me I have a scholarship with another organization and I got tuition waiver and some money for maintenance with that organizacion, I do not know if that's the reason why they did not offer me more funding.

Do you get other offers? How about funding? UFL PhD is a new program, but it has some pros, as funding, research opportunities, and faculty attention.

Umass gave me tuition waiver and it's possible I can get it from VCU, but there is not a assistantship at least in the first year.
