For those of you who are applying for the Student House at IHEID, are there price differences depending on which floor you choose (inférieur, intermédiaire, supérieur)?

Congrats to you as well! Another question, do I need to wait until my status changes to "Confirmed" in order to apply for student accomodation? And if so, how long will IHEID take to confirm my registration?

I have a quick question for anyone who confirmed their decision to attend. I just did that a moment ago, and this is what shows up. Is this normal? How am I supposed to find out when they will officially acknowledge my confirmation?

I was pretty suprised to find out since I applied to 5 schools (SAIS, SIS, Sciences Po, IHEID, Berkeley) and this is the only rejection I received. So did you make up your mind of where you want to attend?

Did you get in by any chance? I got rejected!

I would contact them to see if you can provide new types of documentation that might change the evaluation of your financial situation. Who knows, maybe they can at least place you in the waiting list? Congratulations on all your acceptances btw, full funding from a U.S school sounds so amazing!

Hey Grad888, I was wondering if you could lend insights into how students finance their studies in IHEID? Are there a lot of private/external fellowships we can apply for besides the IHEID scholarships? Also, is it relatively easy to find a part-time job opportunities to help offset living costs there?

I have to say I'm so grateful to you guys for being such a great support system during the 3 months of excruciating wait period. Now it has become a natural habit of mine to check this forum at least twice a day to see if anyone has written.. honestly I would have lost my sanity waiting without your support, sharing of useful information, frustration & hope & most importantly, encouragement ! A HUGE thanks you to all Just out of curiosity, did anyone get in with a full scholarship? And for those who plan to attend without a scholarship, how do you plan to finance your studies there?

So I just called them and all decisions have been finalized, and sent to the Graduate Division last week. It is only a matter of when the division decides to release the decisions, but we are to hear back anytime now. She said to call back on Wednesday if we don't hear back.

I can totally relate to the frustration.. although I partly understand why the process is taking so long for them. They must face very tough decisions as they only accept 25 new students each year. I'm going to call them later this afternoon, and will let you know what they say!

Hi all, Just trying to see if there is anyone out there who is STILL awaiting to hear back from UC Berkeley's MDP program. I've tried calling multiple times, but no luck in reaching them so far.. The last communication I had with the MDP coordinator dates back to mid-February and we are supposed to hear back around mid-March.. hopefully that's the case!
