Mine came from the Fulbright Student Program (IIE). The subject said Fulbright Application Notification. It didn't have a P, A, or NS in the subject line as people from previous years mention. Luckily the first sentence said congratulations, so I knew immediately it was good news.

I found out Tuesday that I am a finalist to Germany for Research/Study. The notification came during my ridiculously busy part of the week, so I haven't been able to post yet. It was hard to stay productive when all I wanted to do was jump up and down with excitement! Congrats @NikkiC and @Sound+Vision! Where will you guys be? I'm a classical singer and will be in Stuttgart researching and performing the works of a German composer. Sending good vibes to the Germany alternates on the forum. I hope you guys get bumped up!!!!

I'm a semi-finalist for Germany for search/study. I got the same email yesterday. My school also had a record of sending the transcript. Richard Harris replied that transcripts get lost in the mail or they process so many themselves that they can misplace them. He reassured me that I have time to resend one and I shouldn't worry much more about it. He said to check back with him on March 11 to make sure it arrived. I'm assuming this means Germany applicants shouldn't expect results until after that date. Good luck to you!

I received notification about 30 mins. ago that I received a grant to München. It's time to hurry up and make plans now!

Hey Beauvoir. Do you know if all acceptances have gone out? Or if maybe they are being sent alphabetically? I still haven't heard anything so wonder if I might be on a waiting list...

Still nothing. Now they are technically closed. Horb, hopefully she is working late. Otherwise we will be left hanging for the weekend.

I applied for München and Berlin. So two big ones. Which maybe was a bad choice...hopefully I will know soon.

I'm with Horb. I haven't heard anything yet. So funny that they said next week and then immediately started sending out answers.

Hi guys. I also applied for the summer intensive language grant. I emailed DAAD NY today about notifications. The lady sent a kind reply saying that they had a delay in their headquarters. She hopes to get results from them in the next seven days. So it looks like we have a bit more waiting to do
