    I was told I could register for a course that will be really taken 2 weeks prior to the official fall start (Math for engineers). While registering it, I noticed I could register other courses, so wrote to my advisor and he made his recommendation.

    Thanks for the answer regarding the number of courses. My advisor is telling me to take 4 courses. I guess I'll try.

    Hey guys/girls, I'm also getting to UCSD. Things are becoming real now. You were talking about courses per quarter before. Would you recommend taking 4 or 5 courses per quarter? Is it too much? Cheers!
