Hi, about Guelph how did you come to know u were in the waitlist..!!Does your application states it in your student portal or did you call them?

Me too received a rejection from UOT health promotion today...through email..!!

Hi, I too donot belong to Canada, agree wid u here that selection process is a bit tricky for international students N i also got rejected from 3 uni, moreover i called up UOT about they same issue, n was told the admission process continues till end of june. Hope this helps Hope u dnt mind me asking which other universities did u apply n wht is ur application status?

I took IELTS my score is 7.5 bands, I really dnt have any idea about scholarships but even in my application I waived the scholarship option, I worked for almost a month on my SOP but i feel it may not be that strong or may be incomplete etc ( you see I cannot really comment on why I was not selected unless I get a feedback from any university). I applied for MPH as I am working as a dental health promoter and field volunteer too..!! Well I got selected in york uni UK last year but I dropped out as I not sure abt the progan as well as practicum, and my father is not willing for Australia, initially I was planning for US but my GRE score was not that decent so the final option left was canada. there is a lot of diff in dolllar and rupee ratio, I mean if I have to spend a tidy sum of money then atleast I will take a good University as my option.

Hi, Yes i mentioned It a couple of times in my SOP, that i wish to come back to my country to work further in the rural sector in field of health promotion as that is what I am doing right now..!! Still..!! Its makes me really mad n sad at the same time...I.asked Sfu they usually dnt reply, from lakehead I was told that its the.department decision and In future if i wish to apply i should make sure that my SOP has to be drafted in such a way as yo make wht are my goals n how will the program help me achieve it, wrote to UVIC too..waiting for their email..!! The only reason I believe is that may be I applied in Jan and that was a bit late..

I submitted my applications in 2nd week of jan asi was waiting for provisional acceptance of my research paper.. N on writing to lakehead about the reason for my rejection i was simply told that its the department decision... Nothing more than that..!!

Hi my ielts score is 7.5 bands forgot to mention that earlier No i didnot receive any news from Guelph nor uot.though i called guelh a few days back they told that they would be sending out 2nd round of admission offers soon...they usually wait for almost 21+15 days for the students to accept the admission offer, they also mentioned that the program is highly competitive and there are almost 300 applications n 30 seats.

Hi all, I have been a long time follower of this forum, but writing here for the 1st time...a bit disappointed by my rejections...!! I belong to India its been my 2nd attempt this time and then too I was rejected.. I applied to lakehead, Sfu, Uvic,Guelph and Uot The first 3 uni have rejected my application Don't know why hence sharing my stats below. Suggestions from rest of the forum members are welcome as it will help me upgrade my application for the next time. Gpa 3/4 Work exp 2 Years and 8 months of voluntary experience as a dental health educator and promoter in an Ngo. 1 epidemological research published. 2 certificate courses one in statistics and the other one in monitoring and evaluation. While working with the Ngo I have given lectures on dental health promotion in various rural areas in my city. Please suggestions are welcome from everyone
