i think it was fake. i know for a fact (a colleague of mine was invited) that princeton had its interview weekend last week. i don't see why they would be calling up more people---unless they only invited three or four favorite candidates to woo them?

does anyone know if it is prestigious? i am surprised! the faculty are well-known, they have an exchange with the ENS, but i have not found it highly ranked on any sites!

as a recent offender, i should apologize. i was actually more interested in learning whether accepted students held M.A's or were coming straight out of an undergraduate program. "stats" being a word that floats around these fora often, i mindlessly re-typed it. a pointless request, sure. but most of what i glean from this site is pointless. just a place to empty out my neuroses....

salut, i didn't apply to emory, so I don't know about the french department. i know the english dept has sent out acceptances however, so you should get something soon (I think?). Where else did you apply? Bon courage!

does anyone know if Cornell or Harvard or Penn are doing campus visits? and, if so, have invitations already been sent out?
